This is such an interesting video! Medieval body mechanics….
Dancers of course walk on the balls of their feet including extending the foot out in front of them before transferring weight. And yes, it is also true that walking like this encourages good posture (don’t forget to engage your zippers and two way energy among other RPM principles of movement). We also know that center of gravity is over the ball of the foot and that if you are either too far back or too far forward you need to grip to stand up.
